Broadband and Digital Equity in Hawaii – HawaiiKidsCAN

Last year, the H.T. Hayashi Foundation awarded a small grant to HawaiiKidsCAN to support the critical work they are doing to bring digital equity and access to all of Hawaii’s students and households. These bills were signed into law by Governor Ige, on June 30, 2022.
 
During this past legislative session, they along with the numerous partners of the Hawaii Broadband Hui, worked with legislators to pass several key bills that are a significant step in the right direction.
